Homework
Our weekly focus for homework is around three main areas of reading, spelling and maths.
Children in years 1-6 will have homework set via Google Classrooms on a Friday and tested on the following Friday.
- Spellings
- Number Sense/Times Tables
- Reading - All pupils will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times per week but ideally 4-5 times. Please sign your child's reading record book to show that you have heard your child read.
Alongside this, Year 6 (and Year 5 from Summer 1) will be expected to complete a Learning by Questions (LbQ) task online at least once a week. This will be linked to the week's learning and will be reviewed/assessed by the class teacher to identify any learning gaps.
