Uniform Information

Purchasing School Uniform

Our uniform with school logo is now available to buy online at McLellan Clothing:

Ties can also be purchased from the school office (£3 each)

It is expected that all children wear the agreed school uniform.  This consists of:

  • White polo top with school logo (Nursery only); White blouse* with school tie
  • Navy sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo
  • Navy skirt or pinafore dress; or grey trousers (Winter) or a dress** of full blue/white checked gingham (Summer)
  • Navy tights or white socks;  black shoes with low heels

  • White polo top with school logo (Nursery only); White shirt* with school tie
  • Navy sweatshirt with school logo
  • Grey shorts or long grey trousers
  • Plain grey or black socks; black shoes

* In Summer, Reception, Year 1 and 2 children have the option of wearing a white polo shirt with the school logo instead of a white blouse or shirt.

** The Summer dress must be a full dress and not a white top/gingham skirt combination or culottes

On PE day, Reception children may wear a white polo shirt with school logo to make it easier to change for their PE lesson.

PE Kit

Plain white polo shirt or white T shirt, navy blue shorts.

Sensible trainers can be worn for outdoor lessons.  In very cold weather, plain dark track suits may be worn.

Studded earrings remain the only earrings permitted in school and must be removed for any PE lesson. The only exception are those children with recently pierced ears who are unable to remove the earrings for 4-6 weeks. We now permit those children to wear plasters (to be brought in from home) over their ears for PE sessions. In the interest of safety no bracelets or bands are to be worn in school. Whilst many bands may be for a charitable cause, we would ask the children to wear them out of school.

Hair/Make Up

The school requests children do not have extreme haircuts including Mohawk cuts, lines shaved into the hair and excessive use of hair products. Beaded hair extensions are also not permitted as they are a potential hazard. In the interest of hygiene and safety long hair for BOTH girls and boys should be tied back using a headband or bobble. Nail varnish or make up should not be worn in school. We fully appreciate children may have worn them for occasions over the weekend or a weekday evening but can we please ask they be removed before coming to school.

Lost Property

Please ensure your child’s name is on all items of uniform that they may take off during the school day.
