School meals are provided and cooked on the premises. These meals provide a balanced diet for children, incorporating awareness of healthy eating. There is a choice of hot meals each day from a set menu that works on a three week cycle.

Universal Free School Meals
Infant pupils (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
Free School Meals
If you think that you may be entitled to free school meals, you can apply by ringing the call centre on 0161 793 2500.
Packed Lunch
Children are allowed to bring a balanced, healthy packed lunch to school in a suitable safe container if you would prefer. See information at the bottom of this page.
To minimise the risk for children in school with nut allergies, please do not send any nuts or food/spreads/bars containing nuts to school. This includes items sent for morning break and packed lunches.
St. Mark's School uses the online system Evolve (www.myevolvehub.com) for parents to order from the school menu.
Orders must be completed by 9.15am each day.
If your child will be absent, you must cancel then order before 9:15am.
The full menu is available for orders for children in Reception - Year 6.
Nursery children have the option to order the main dish from the day's menu, subject to dietary requirements.
The spring/summer menu will be launching after the Easter break.
Please note that the online ordering system will be updated to reflect the new menus at the start of April.
Milk is available free of charge each day until children reach their fifth birthday.
As our school has been awarded ‘Healthy School Status’, all children in Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 are provided with fruit each day.
Toast is available for Key Stage 2 children and can be ordered half termly in advance on My Evolve.
Water is available throughout the school day.
